Then off to the most perfect town ever where we stayed an amazing airbnb that we will visit again – it was one of the sweetest places I stayed at ever. I loved meeting Corey & Mark who just opened the prettiest space a few weeks ago.  It is an old farmhouse that they totally renovated into a modern day space with original details from floors to beams.

They had amazing recommendations & they included breakfast that was so yummy from some of the best egg dishes we had to yummy local farm fruits.

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/24096258  there are 1 – 2 rooms on the property that are dog friendly. SKANELEATES The Bond 1835 Room 2

Saranac Lake is the cutest town I loved it from going to the bakery to Local Branch which is one of the coolest merchandised stores – more info on that coming soon also lots of fun vintage shops filled with antiques – we found this one place where we fell in love with a map of Brooklyn

In town you can take the dogs around the lake which is super dog friendly and there are plenty of places to sit.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting these two places :

The Conservation Area is popular dog walking/hike area, check https://skaak.org/ , also  https://www.cnyhiking.com/CharlieMajorNatureTrail.htm

The first night we ate at http://www.dougsfishfry.com/ which was really fun spot and has a place in the back to sit that is dog friendly — there is also an ice cream place right there as well

The second night we ate at GILDA’s which is also dog friendly  with a small table outside – https://www.yelp.com/biz/gildas-skaneateles  – the pizza was memorable — I would highly recommend this spot

You must go to https://skaneateles-bakery.squarespace.com/ we went there for lunch and had super yummy sandwiches – -you can get them and walk to the gazebo and sit inside with your dog so fun – also Corey had breakfast pastries which is so memorable and so good – a blueberry scone that was like no other blueberry pastry I had it was AMAZING !

Skaneateles is a hidden gem that is really a town you must visit.

We also stopped at http://www.mirbeau.com/skaneateles/ because I saw a photo on instagram I wish we had more time would have loved to get some lunch there and maybe a massage – would definitely do that the next time in Skaneatles.
