I am always looking for good brunch / breakfast places and after we went to the MOMA today we tried the Petrossian cafe. There is also the restaurant that looked lovely but it was a more formal dining experience also they didn’t have many “breakfast” choices by the time we arrived there so we went next door to the cafe. There were wonderful choices, the salmon was delicious and the service lovely. I still think Norma’s is overrated. I love breakfast at Sarabeth’s, Popover on the Upper West Side and http://www.labergamotenyc.com/ but Petrossian is a new favorite – a French dining experience with a Russian twist. The other cool thing I notice is that they fill their champagne glasses tall.
Check it out it is located midtown right near Norma’s and one of the Sarabeth’s locations and I would say it is the best choice.
