TWITTER IS AWESOME TO GET IN TOUCH WITH PEOPLE

For days now I have been trying to get in touch with companies I love to get them involved in this studio project and I call, email to no avail sometimes – UGH ūüė¶ so I tried to utilize twitter to reach out to some of the companies I would love to get involved with what I am doing at the studio. Like twitter these companies are modern, cool and are doing great things product wise and also have a great social media voice and we hope to work with them. ¬†Twitter is GENIUS – it another way to communicate and hopefully eventually be able to have a longer conversation with companies and people you want to be able to do awesome events, promotions, happenings – it is about thinking out of the box. ¬†In the past, you would research a companies phone number and then try to get in touch – get them on the phone, leave a message but this time around I am trying things the modern way – I drop them a line on TWITTER and say hey check us out if you want – I hope they do. It feels a little weird maybe doing a “cold twitter” but it is just like a marketing / sales call hopefully someone will respond. ¬†So I cross my fingers and I hope that my 140 characters will give me the opportunity to talk to some of these GREAT AWESOME COMPANIES!

I did something similiar when I had to put a play list together for this restaurant opening – I asked people what their favorite Spring time song was on TWITTER and got some awesome answers – check out this story.

Twitter-Inspired Music Monday - Spring Playlist by DJ Claudine DeSolaIf you are active on¬†Twitter, it generally serves one of two purposes ‚Äď as a new social media platform or as a virtual friend to lob funny encounters at, thereby making your life feel more like a hilarious (yet relatable) sitcom.

However, DJ Claudine DeSola (@ClaudineDeSola) mixed things up. The music maven reached out to her Twitter followers for help in compiling a spring and summer playlist that would serve as background music for this past weekend’s Beba restaurant (@BebaNYC) opening in New York.
