SYDNEY AUSTRALIA SCULPTURE : BY THE SEA

WOW, when I went to Sydney I got a suprise alright – it is called Sculpture by the Sea and it was incredible. I wish I got to see everything but I saw a whole bunch and I loved it. This occurs at Bondi Beach, one of the coolest beaches in the world. This exhibit sees over 400,000 visitors and there are over 100 sculptures.  To find out more visit www.sculpturebythesea.com. But here are some of my favorites.

Some photos of Bondi Beach to start :

I close with the JOLLY GIANTS by STEVE CROQUETT.

There is some mention of the inspiration in the guidebook – that the JOLLY GIANTS are guys expressing laughter and tummy drumming.  “Life in the 21st century has become all too serious,” as per the artist.

I love laughing and having fun and work and life is tough sometimes so if you can laugh it all off – that is the best way to stay young ! HA HA

To close Australia is one of the most beautiful places in the world – Bondi Beach is one of the coolest and this SCULPTURE BY THE SEA was just wonderful to check out and I was so lucky to be there to see it.
