Life Sometimes…

GOES UPSIDE DOWN ALL AROUND AND BACK TO NORMAL AGAIN…

I had a crazy weekend – I had a very stressful SATURDAY so I decided to go out on SUNDAY and enjoy LIFE… my friend said this quote to me recently if you are NOT LIVING THEN YOU ARE DYING

so my goal is to LIVE !!!

It is funny I hate country music but Tim McGraw wrote a song about living your life like you are about to die… make each day matter.

http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Live-Like-You-Were-Dying-revised-lyrics-lyrics-Tim-McGraw/379623F1E6EAF01C48256EAA000A50BF

Love the people you want to love, hug the people you want to hug, skydive, dance like a crazy person, have a picnic, explore your city like a tourist…

And I live by learning about new people, art, culture, food, music -it is about the journey of life. Life is a sense of discovery and I believe everything happens for a reason. Sometimes life is not fair but God must have a plan for us so we must trust in him and continue onward and upward.

Sometimes your life goes in a direction you never thought it would but you just need to go with the flow.

Even when there are things that happen that are beyond your control you need to stand strong and try to just put your best foot forward.

I have a “cousin” I call him that – he had a really bad accident about a year ago – he is my age and is such an incredible person. His life changed overnight.  He has a lot to deal with on a daily basis but he handles all of this with grace and still enjoys time with his family and is trying to enjoy life – I never hear about him having pity on himself about this accident I only hear about how he is moving forward, living and enjoying the time he with friends & family. I was supposed to go see him but then there was a terrible snow storm so I didn’t get to see him and it is one of the most important things I need to do. I plan to go visit with him in the next month or so especially now the weather is nice out. I look forward to seeing him and feeling his strength.

So that is my goal is to live – enjoy my friends, my family, my work, my free time and to try to be the best person I can be in every area and to be honest.  Honesty is not always easy and sometimes it is not only hard for you to say but it is hard for another person to listen to the truth but that saying is true “honesty is the best policy”. I think so… we should all try to be the best we can be and try to be honest, loving and caring and enjoy the journey.

So here is my journey on Sunday with a whole lot of amazing artists: If you have never been to the Armory show when it is up in NYC– you need to go … for now I have my sight set on going to Art Basel in Miami in December and having an experience like I did on Sunday ten fold…

This will need to be continued otherwise this blog will be forever long…just keep scrolling down and you will find over 40 yes FORTY artists from around the globe … this was awesome and believe I still have more after all of this…
